There will be much journaling this evening! In fact, while I journal, I'm going to be listening to my friend Dr. Benjamin Ward's tribute concert. Dr. Ward is a storied philosophy professor at my alma mater, Duke University, and in September he held a wonderful concert on campus. On the program are a movement from a Beethoven quartet, the Brahms Piano Quintet, which he plays with the celebrated Ciompi Quartet, a movement from a Mozart piano sonata, and four selections from Duke University's oldest male a capella group, The Pitchforks. I had a heart-warming conversation with Dr. Ward the other day and am glad to be back in touch with him!
You can listen to the album by following this link and these instructions:https://public.me.com/portercenter in this public folder, you will find the "Ben Ward Tribute Concert" folder. Download all contents to your desktop. Once in iTunes, select "Add to Library" and then navigate to where the concert files are saved and click "Add."
Enjoy the tribute concert and thank you in advance for your support of this first effort from Peace And Joy Today, our spoken word album, Inspiration Kit #1!
Peace And Joy,
Lauren
